The Daylight Lamp LT 460 is designed for light showers or light therapy and can be used on the living room table, kitchen table or in the office. It has a support leg and achieves a light intensity of up to 10,000 lux. It is therefore well-suited for treating symptoms of the winter blues (SAD - seasonal affective disorder). It is particularly convenient that it can be applied either horizontally or vertically, depending on your personal preference.
The certified medical product is intended for the safe use of light baths or light therapy in order to treat seasonal affective disorder (SAD), also called winter blues.

In autumn and winter, the seasons with very little sunshine and short days, the lack of sunlight influences some chemical processes in the brain, affecting the well-being of the entire body. We perceive it as fatigue and lack of energy.

The Medisana Daylight Lamp LT 460 uses bright electric light to compensate for the lack of sunlight during fall and winter months. It simulates daylight, with the added benefit of not producing the harmful UV radiation that the sunlight has. In addition, light helps the brain to balance the production of the hormone melatonin, which reduces the symptoms of the so-called seasonal affective disorder (SAD).

You need to place the lamp about 20 to 30cm from your eyes.
The light should shine on your face from the side. For horizontal or vertical installation, you can put the support leg in one of the holes provided on the rear for this purpose or in the holder.
