Description Omron Walking Style 4

It can be difficult to tell by its design that such a small pedometer is equipped with so many functions. While completely simple to handle, the Omron Walking Style 4 offers you several ways to track your walking and running activities.

First of all, the Walking Style IV measures your steps with a high-precision 3D sensor. In addition to this, it is able to automatically detect fast (aerobic) steps and to register them separately. 'Aerobic steps' means more than 60 steps per minute for a period of 10 minutes.

In addition to this, activities such as walking in circles can be individually defined with the feature 'event mode'. Those are then measured separately. The memory shows the values of the last 7 days.

The Omron Walking Style 4 has proven to be a practical companion with useful information. If, for example, you want to know the time, you can use the digital clock on your pedometer. Particularly useful is the information about the calorie consumption, which is calculated according to the number of steps when walking or running.

Event mode:
Separate measurement of individually defined walking actions. The results are saved separately in addition to the daily data.

Many people aim for around 10,000 steps a day to maintain a decent level of fitness. Research indicates that this helps ensure long-term health and reduces chronic disease risk. Using 3D sensing technology, the Walking style 4 makes it simple to accurately keep track of your daily step count because it can be carried in your pocket, bag or even on your belt.

Application Omron Walking Style 4

The Omron Walking Style 4 is very user-friendly, and it can also calculate the calories consumed. The 3D acceleration sensor detects movement in three directions. As soon as you pass from normal walking to jogging, the device detects this change in movement and takes it into account when calculating the values. All this makes the Omron Walking Style 4 an absolutely useful companion when it comes to staying healthy or to losing weight.

For long term health and reduced chronic disease risk, we should walk 10,000 steps a day. For successful weight loss, this should be between 12,000 and 15,000 steps. If we want to build aerobic fitness, we should make at least 3,000 (preferably more) steady steps per day.

The OMRON Walking style 4 helps you manage your steps. Simply wear the OMRON Walking style One and it will count all your daily steps. It's easy to use: just set it and start moving.
