  • Rapeseed cushion

    • The rapeseed cushion is a proven and ultra-modern Swiss household remedy, sympathetic in its shape and usage, and perfect when it comes to storing heat. The filling of the cushion can be heated, as it stores the heat and gives off it in a targeted manner to the affected parts of your body.

      The rapeseed pillow is a natural heat or cold storage cushion that offers the great advantage of adapting well to a particular area of the body. The pillow is made of fabric that is filled with dry rapeseeds. If you expose the pillow to heat, the seeds are able to charge themselves well with the heat and to retain the heat for a long time.

      If you place the rapeseed cushion to the corresponding area of your body that you would like relaxed by heat, the cushion will transfer the heat evenly and efficiently. If needed, the rapeseed cushion can also be put in a cold place and then be used as a cooling pad.

  • Rapeseed cushion

    • It is best to heat up the cushion in the microwave oven for about 60 seconds. Alternatively, you can put it for approximately 15 minutes in the oven or in the stove at a temperature of about 100 °C. (Caution - wood burners can reach a very high temperature.) Watch out during the heating process, do not leave the cushion unattended or do not expose it to the heat source for a longer time than intended.

      If you need a cold compress that adapts well to the body, simply place the cushion for some time in the freezer or fridge and use it afterwards as a cooling cushion.
