  • Turbo Med ankle strap

    • The TurboMed Ankle Strap offers individual wear comfort, even when the ankle is swollen. The elastic band allows for good support of the ankle and metatarsal.

      Bandages provide a positive effect to the respective body part in several forms: they protect and support muscles, joints and connective tissue; thanks to the slight compression that they exert, they increase the body temperature slightly in the affected area. This stimulates the blood circulation and the metabolism in the cells, promoting the healing process. The Turbo med ankle bandage can be used for many indications and is helpful in different cases. It is very comfortable to wear and consists of three different layers of tissue.

      Turbo med fabric consists of three layers:
      1 Elastic fabric: This layer shapes and supports. The uniform pressure together with the structure of the cotton fabric provides a constant micro-massage. The fabric is bielastic (= longitudinal and transverse elastic).
      2 Natural caoutchouc: This material increases the temperature of the affected body area and thus enables the micro-circulation and an improved oxygen delivery. This stimulates the metabolism so that injuries can heal faster.
      3 Hypoallergenic Cotton: This is the layer that is directly in contact with the skin. It guarantees highest comfort, while avoiding possible allergic reactions.

      It is best to wash the Turbo med bandage with mild detergent or with PH neutral soap at 30 °C/40 °C by hand or with the gentle cycle of the washing machine. Do not put it in the dryer! Do not iron the belt! Do not dry clean it!
