How are TENS electrodes attached to the skin?
The proper use of TENS electrodes is quickly learned. Important: first attach the electrodes to the skin and only then turn on the unit.
Special TENS electrodes
Some TENS devices can also be connected to special electrodes. Like for example the Promed 1000s TENS device. The video shows how a glove electrode is connected to the Promed TENS 1000s. It is important that you first connect the electrodes to the electrode cable and place them on the skin before you connect the cable to the TENS device.
When should I not use a TENS device?
There are certain cases or situations in which the use of a TENS unit is not recommended for health reasons. There are also situations when the electrodes should not be applied.
